Dear Friends of Summer Breeze,
As winter chill embraces NYC, we are excited to update you on some of the Summer Breeze achievements made during the past hot summer:
MAKING A SPLASH AT SIGGRAPH 2002
We had a great time in
SIGGRAPH this year. Yaron organized a course on character setup for animation and was one of the speakers. The other three speakers were Jason Schleifer from Weta Digital Ltd., Mark A. Piretti from Blue Sky Studios and Raffaele Scaduto-Medola from DreamWorks SKG. The course was well recieved. We also combed the exhibition floor, spreading the word about the project and rustling up new support. We are very thankful to the many new friends and colleagues we met at the conference who have helped us build our studio! The donations of much needed hardware and software are being well used 7-days a week in the making of Summer Breeze!

Da Ai is a non-commercial, public TV station, part of the international philanthropic organization, Tzu-Chi. Da Ai’s support took effect in September, enabling us to pay the rent, and put some food in the refrigerator! : )HARDWARE, SOFTWARE AND PRINTING SERVICES CONTRIBUTIONS
The Summer Breeze message of love is spreading, thanks to the help of generous supporters. Our first supporter was Spectra NYC who contributed printing services. After our SIGGRAPH expedition, it was BOXX Technologies who sent us the first big box. Together with AMD and NVIDIA, they helped us put together our first PC workstations. Right Hemisphere followed, sending us their great software. Then, HPcontributed hardware, and recently, more software support came from ADOBE, Discreet, and Syflex!
Without this support, we would not have been able to continue our production!
SUMMER BREEZE NOW HAS A HOME
Our studio is up and running at a ferocious pace on the beautiful Upper West Side of New York City, and we are focused intensely on production, so if we are a little slow to respond to your emails, or you don’t hear from us for a while, it’s because we are busy making the film of our dreams!
